What type of production do we do? - High Definition Video

A look back on the kind of video/film work we’ve done over the years includes commercials, feature film production, location shooting, web movies, corporate videos, documentaries, and even simple things like editing location tags on TV commercials. We savor the challenge and uniqueness of each project for which we are hired.

Our Mission

 

In every project whether it be a commercial or theatrical there is a story. It’s also extremely important to understand the project’s audience and build it for them. We can create, assist, or advise with concept, script, and storyboards to make certain that the blueprint for production will ultimately maximize production value and impact.

Gear

Our main camera is a Panasonic HPX2000 with the AVC Intra codec board installed. Two Fujinon Lenses, Matte box and batteries. P2 technology and an amazing post workflow keep things moving rapidly in post. A Panasonic B2_LH 1700WP Monitor, When you hire Commercial – we have no need to rent camera or gear. More Here

Cinematography

A digital cinematographer has to have an elaborate understanding of the technical aspects to shooting, but Ted Sikora also brings a very diverse background in writing, illustration, and stage production to every shoot. This result is an award winning eye for composition and a friendly manner of working with actors and non-actors.

Editing

You won’t find hidden costs and transfer fees here. Because of the P2 tapeless workflow all footage from your shoot is transferred and available for your edit sessions before you arrive. Editing can be done in many ways, and depending on your project and availability you can be here for all, some, or none of the editing. We’re extremely flexible and happy to work within your post production comfort level. Two Final Cut Pro suites are in house.

Color Correction

It used to be that color correction was used to correct color problems from camera acquisition. That can still be done, but today examples of more extreme color treatments are everywhere. We can take a shot that’s very drab and transform it into something ultra hip and cool in minutes – but it HAS to serve the story!

Delivery

We can compress to any HD master file format you would require. We’re also equipped to author BluRay and DVDs. For Standard Def tape delivery we have a DIGIBETA deck, and BetaSP duplication services.

Documentary Films

Commercial Recording Studios Inc. has partnered together with Telos Productions to produce award winning documentaries.

Founded in 1984, the company has created more than a thousand programs for an extraordinarily diverse clientele, including major corporations, nonprofit organizations, universities, museums, advertising and public relations agencies, and many others. Telos specializes in documentary-style programming for arts organizations and museums; however, we also have extensive experience with programming for business-to-business communications, development, marketing, corporate image programming, news magazines, video news releases, and television commercials.

Corporate Video

Video is often used to increase sales, memberships or attendance, improve profits, save money, reduce costs and risks. These are the primary benefits of using video production effectively. Video delivers a consistent message, which is an important benefit when communicating instructional information or training.
